Alexey Maltsev has held a variety of roles in the finance and accounting sector since 2008. From 2008-2009, they worked as a Senior Auditor of the “Refining and Marketing” Audit Department at Gazprom-neft, then as a Financial Controller at Wintershall in 2010. From 2010-2011, they were a Senior Consultant - Performance Improvement Finance at Ernst & Young. In 2013, they became the CFO of Sakhatrans, and from 2014-2016 they were the External CFO and Business Architect at Bryanston Resources. From 2016-2019, they were the Chief Financial Officer at INFOSECURITY, and they currently hold the same role at Perfobore since 2020. Throughout their career, Alexey has been responsible for streamlining and optimizing financial processes, developing and implementing methodological and regulatory documentation, creating financial models and systems, and managing project teams.
Alexey Maltsev obtained a Certificate of Professional Translator from the Higher School of Economics in 2003, after studying English/Russian bilingual translation from 2000-2003. Alexey then obtained a Master's Degree in Management of Organisation from the same institution from 1998-2003. In 2008, they obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from ACCA and a full member certificate from the same institution in March of that year. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Oxford Brookes University from 2015-2017.
