Madeleine Seidel is a dedicated art history professional with extensive experience in curatorial roles. Currently serving as a Curatorial Assistant at PERFORMA since October 2022, Madeleine previously held the position of Lazarus Curatorial Fellow at CUNY Hunter College from October 2020 to November 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Curatorial Research Assistant and Intern at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where involvement included significant research for the Jasper Johns Retrospective. Additional internships at institutions such as the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts, Atlanta Contemporary, Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, and The Dali Museum further developed Madeleine's skills in event coordination, visitor engagement, and curatorial assistance. Madeleine holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Auburn University.
