Aric Aumond

Aric Aumond, P.E. is a seasoned fire protection engineer currently serving as Principal and Vice President of Operations at Performance Based Fire Protection Engineering, PLLC since May 2019. In addition, Aric operates 14 vacation rentals along Florida's Nature Coast as the Owner of Vacation Nature Coast since January 2021. Previously, Aric held the position of Director in Tampa at SLS Consulting, Inc. from November 2018 to April 2019, where project management involved assessing client needs and managing project timelines. Prior experiences include working as a Fire Protection Engineer at AECOM from July 2016 to November 2018, focusing on codes and standards analyses, and as a Fire Protection Designer at Hatcher Engineering from July 2014 to July 2016, developing complex design layouts. Aric holds a Master of Engineering in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
