Hossain A. Ami is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in low-latency optimization and autonomy systems. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for Low Latency & Optimization at PDW since February 2023, Hossain develops optimized C++ software and applies advanced computer science principles for efficiency. Hossain has held numerous leadership roles, including CEO & Principal Computer Scientist at Autonami Software LLC and previous director positions at PDW and The Drone Racing League, where Hossain directed high-performing teams in autonomous systems and software engineering. Hossain's earlier experience includes a senior software engineering role at Lockheed Martin and a technical lead position at Emerson Automation Solutions, reinforcing a solid foundation in computer engineering and electrical engineering through degrees from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
