Austin Blade

Austin Blade has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Austin began their career as an Account Executive at Titan Digital in December 2016. In February 2018, they joined Vertafore as a Technical Support Specialist, where they provided technical expertise, authored technical instruction articles, and conducted product training.

In November 2018, Austin transitioned to the Nashville Software School as an Apprentice Software Developer. During this time, they developed hands-on programming skills and led a project as a team lead. Austin also honed their JavaScript and React skills.

Following their time at the Nashville Software School, Austin worked at Relode as an Associate Software Developer from May 2019 to March 2021. Austin then took on the role of Full Stack Software Developer from March 2021 to October 2021, where they applied Agile practices, utilized .NET WebAPI and Entity Framework, and implemented microservices and Azure functions.

From October 2021 to January 2022, Austin joined CoStar Group as a Software Engineer. Here, they designed user-friendly data analytics tool interfaces and implemented client-side Apollo API layer for performance optimization using React, TypeScript, d3, and Redux Toolkit.

In January 2022, Austin moved to Tackle.io, where they served as a Software Engineer until March 2023. In this role, they designed and implemented scalable backend microservices using Python, FastAPI, and AWS services. Austin also led technical projects, conducted research, and fostered cross-functional collaboration.

Currently, Austin holds a Software Engineer position at PerformYard, starting in April 2023.

Austin Blade attended Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Following that, from 2018 to 2019, they attended Nashville Software School to study Computer Software Engineering, although they did not earn a specific degree.
