Michele Mosca is a prominent figure in the field of quantum computing, serving as Co-Founder, President, and CEO of evolutionQ since January 2015. Additionally, Michele co-founded softwareQ Inc. in 2017 and has played a key role at the Institute for Quantum Computing as a Co-Founder and Professor since its inception in 2002, following the establishment of the Quantum Computing group at Waterloo in 1999. Michele has also held the positions of Deputy Director at the Perimeter Institute and Founding Member of the Associate Faculty at the University of Waterloo, where contributions have been made as a Professor in the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization since 1999. Michele's academic credentials include a D.Phil. in Mathematics with a focus on Quantum Computer Algorithms from the University of Oxford, along with an MSc in Mathematics and the Foundations of Computer Science and a B.Math. in Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo.
