Dulce Melendez has held various roles in the technology and hospitality industries since 2007. In 2007, they began their career at Taqueria Las Cumbres, where they served as a Strategic Marketing Intern, Assistant Manager, and Server. In 2013, they joined Johnson Controls as an Enterprise Regional Sales Representative, where they were part of a competitive college grad 6 month Sales Training program. In 2017, they moved to LearnCore - Sales Training and Coaching Platform as a Sales Development Representative- Mid Market/ Enterprise. In 2018, they joined Syndigo as a Business Development Executive- Mid Market/Enterprise. In 2020, they joined Upwork as an Account Manager and Chair of the Que Tal- LatinX (ERG/UBC). In 2022, they joined PerimeterX as an Account Executive - Merged with Human Security and HUMAN as an Enterprise Security Account Executive.

Dulce Melendez received their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2013, where they studied Entrepreneurial Management. In 2018, they obtained the Value Selling certification from ValueSelling Associates, Inc. In 2013, they obtained the SPIN Selling certification from Miller Heiman Group. In 2021, they obtained the MEDDPICC certification from Force Management.
