Elchanan Zwecher

Elchanan Zwecher has a strong background in data science, anomaly detection, and cyber security. Elchanan currently works at PerimeterX as a Data Scientist and bot detection expert, utilizing statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and anomaly detection methods to defend websites against attacks. Prior to that, they were employed at BrightSource Energy, Inc., where they developed and implemented advanced anomaly detection and optimization software for industrial plants. Elchanan also worked at Exlibris, where they were responsible for the algorithm core of the company's search engine for national and academic libraries worldwide. Additionally, Elchanan gained teaching experience as a Teacher Assistant at Hebrew University, focusing on stochastic signals and variables.

Elchanan Zwecher earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2004. Elchanan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2004 to 2006. Elchanan continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information theory and parameters estimation (Computer science and electrical engineering) from 2006 to 2012.
