Gregory Carta has a comprehensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Gregory has worked at several companies, including PeriShip Global LLC, IMEX Global Solutions LLC, Stellar Technology Solutions, Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc., Samsung C&T America, Tata Consultancy Services, and Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc.

At PeriShip Global LLC, Gregory worked as a Solutions Engineer III, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Carta Software Services LLC, where they were involved in software development, technical documentation, and supporting the IT team. Gregory utilized various tools such as PyCharm, pgAdmin, PostgreSQL, Python 3.7, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Supervisor Status, and Linux Ubuntu 18.

At IMEX Global Solutions LLC, Gregory was a Software Developer from July 2014 to July 2018. Gregory made significant improvements to the in-house OPS system, resulting in estimated monthly savings of $2,000-10,000. Before Samsung, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Senior Sybase Developer. Gregory provided level three support for an application using SQL stored procedures, wrote ad hoc SQL queries, and resolved escalated production support issues.

Lastly, Gregory worked at Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc. as a Senior Application Developer from October 2000 to April 2011. Gregory developed various in-house PowerBuilder applications, including the Merchandising Budget Planning System (MBPS). Gregory also enhanced and maintained other PowerBuilder applications and provided technical manuals and software problem resolution for end users.

Gregory Carta began their education in 1991 at The Chubb Institute, where they studied COBOL, Assembler, and JCL Computer Programming. In 1994, they attended Delta Corporate Services for Visual C Programming. From 1996 to 1997, Gregory completed the Client/Server Applications Development Diploma at The Chubb Institute, focusing on PowerBuilder, Sybase, Visual Basic, and UNIX. In 2006, they pursued Visual Basic .Net, SQL, and ASP.Net at Ocean County College. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, Gregory enrolled in SetFocus for The Master's Program: .NET Training Track. Gregory learned C# with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, LINQ, AJAX, Silverlight, and ASP.NET MVC2 during this program.

Gregory Carta has also obtained several certifications in recent years. In 2019, they completed the Django 2.2 & Python | The Ultimate Web Development Bootcamp and Mastering Django - AJAX, Class Based Views, Forms courses on Udemy. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Top 10 Worst Tableau Designer Mistakes and How to Avoid Them and Learn to Code in Python 3: Programming beginner to advanced from Udemy. In 2021, they obtained the Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals and completed The Complete Hands-On Introduction to Apache Airflow course on Udemy. In 2022, Gregory earned certifications in Data Visualization with Kibana from Udemy and Astronomer Certification DAG Authoring for Apache Airflow from Astronomer. Finally, in 2023, they completed the Flutter: Part 01 Introduction, Flutter: Part 02 Building Apps, and Flutter: Part 03 Flutter Widgets courses on LinkedIn.
