John Kavanagh

John Kavanagh has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. John most recently worked at PerkinElmer, Inc. as the Head of Infrastructure & Operations, leading the implementation and support of new infrastructure globally. Prior to that, they served as the Sr Director - Systems and Storage at McGraw-Hill Education. John also worked at EMC as a Senior Solutions Architect, where they played a crucial role in the architecture and implementation of EMC Managed Services private clouds. John began their career as a Customer Support Engineer at Westbourne IT Solutions and also gained experience as a Software Programmer at Sbsoft Ltd. John has a strong background in network administration and application development, having held positions such as Network Administrator at College of Commerce, Morrison's, Macro/Application Programmer at Oceaneering/P.T Calmarine, and Application Programmer at Motorola CIG.

John Kavanagh attended Munster Technological University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Computer Applications. John also studied Computer Applications, Commercial Computing, and Information Technology at Cork College of Commerce, earning an RSA Diploma. John later pursued relevant training courses and completed their GCSE in Education at United World College of South East Asia.
