Lionel Hill

Lionel Hill has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Lionel is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Permira since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of CTO Europe TCC at Revantage UK, A Blackstone Company from February 2019 to June 2022. Lionel also served as an Advisory Board Member at Bell Integration from July 2015 to September 2020.

Before their role at Bell Integration, Lionel worked at CBRE in multiple capacities. Lionel was the Chief Digital & Technology Officer, EMEA from November 2017 to December 2018, Chief Digital & Technology Officer for Asset Services & Valuations from October 2016 to May 2018, Global Head of IT BRM & Regional IT from November 2013 to September 2016, and Head of IT, EMEA from April 2013 to November 2013.

Prior to CBRE, Lionel worked at UBS as the Managing Director of Technology Commercial Services from April 2011 to March 2013 and as the Global Head of Market Data & Messaging from June 2004 to April 2011.

Lionel's earlier work experience includes roles at Reuters as the Head of Group Project Office from 1997 to 2002, at Bloomberg as the Head of Transactions Product Development from 1992 to 1997, and at Synchronicity as a Programmer/Analyst from September 1991 to December 1992.

Lionel Hill completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics and Management Studies at the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1991. In 2005, they pursued further education by obtaining a Diploma in Psychology from The Open University, which took him four years to complete. In 2017, Lionel attended the University of Southampton for a short period, where they studied the Fundamentals of Data Science (Technical), although no official degree was specified.
