Tobin Sears is a seasoned professional in security engineering and sales, currently serving as VP of Security Engineering at Permiso Security since February 2024. Previously, Tobin held key leadership roles, including Head of Global Sales Engineering & Customer Success at Blue Lava, Inc. and VP of Sales Engineering at Hydrolix Inc. With extensive experience at WavePort Security as a Technical Advisor and various roles at Agari, Uptycs, Cylance, FireEye, F5 Networks, and McAfee, Tobin has demonstrated expertise in sales engineering and systems architecture across multiple regions. Tobin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
