Jon Berglund

Jon Berglund is an experienced project manager currently working at Permobil since September 2021. Prior to this, Jon held various roles at Volvo Cars from August 2015 to April 2021, including Principal Engineer, Concept Designer, and Program Office Manager, where responsibilities encompassed developing system solutions, designing lightweight body parts, and coordinating management processes for new car programs. Jon's earlier experience at Volvo Car Group from 2008 to June 2015 included roles such as Technical Leader for door structure and Senior Design Engineer, focusing on lightweight designs and leading CAD teams. Jon began a career at Saab Automobile AB from 2005 to 2008 as a Senior Design Engineer, contributing to the design of a lightweight door for the SAAB 9-3. Jon holds a degree from Luleå University of Technology, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
