Lucy Cooke

Lucy Cooke has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Lucy started their career as a Freelance Artist for Let's Go Creativity for Change in 2015, where they designed and delivered creative workshops. In the same year, Lucy also worked as an Assistant Manager at MadLab, where they conducted evaluations and co-wrote a successful funding bid.

In 2016, Lucy joined UnLtd as a Social Enterprise Supporter, overseeing the distribution of awards to social entrepreneurs in Collyhurst. Lucy project-managed the Big Local initiative and managed the application process.

Lucy's experience also includes working as a Workshop Facilitator for The Socially Conscious Company, where they taught social enterprise workshops to young people. Lucy was responsible for facilitating group activities and introducing participants to the concept of social enterprise.

In 2017, Lucy joined the SPRINGS TENANT MANAGEMENT CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED as a Community Development Worker. Lucy'srole involved managing volunteers and trustees, recruiting and interviewing volunteers, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding responsibilities.

Lucy also worked as a Director for Commonplace Events from 2014 to 2019. Lucy collaborated with Greater Manchester-based organizations to deliver community-led events on a mobile community event space called the Commonplace bus.
