Rooz Mousavi

Rooz Mousavi has an extensive work experience in the field of industrial design. Rooz currently holds the position of Lead Industrial Designer at Perrigo Company plc since 2022. Prior to that, they founded ROOOZ PLANET in 2015, where they served as CEO and Creator, developing a world of cute and funny looking aliens for children. In the same year, they also worked as Design Director at ROOZ DESIGN, bringing their passion and creativity to hands-on product development across various industries.

Rooz has also worked as a Senior Industrial Designer at Gibson Homewares from 2021 to 2022, where they contributed to various housewares projects and worked with renowned brands. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Principal Industrial Designer at Smartify LLC, where they transformed the Chinese manufacturing industry by creating functional and appealing designs for major U.S. clients. Rooz has also collaborated with Bluefish Concepts as a Contract Sr. Industrial Designer and 3D Surface Modeler, as well as held positions at Pulse Design Group LLC, Microsoft, Nokia, and The Walt Disney Company.

Throughout their career, Rooz Mousavi has demonstrated their expertise in visual communication, sketching, 2D design, 3D modeling, and rendering. Rooz is known for their attention to detail, dedication, and ability to bring innovative ideas to life in various product categories, including consumer electronics, housewares, and medical devices.

Rooz Mousavi earned a B.S. degree in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design between 2004 and 2007. Before that, they completed an Associate's degree in Industrial design at California State University, Northridge from 2001 to 2002. Earlier in their education, Rooz pursued an Associate of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design at Pasadena City College. Specific dates for this degree are not provided.
