David Sears

David Sears is an accomplished author and freelance writer with extensive experience in military history and literature. Currently a book author at the U.S. Naval Institute, Sears is preparing for the publication of "Duel in the Deep," while also contributing as a freelance features writer for various military publications and the Smithsonian Institution. Sears has authored several notable works, including "Pacific Air," "Such Men as These," and "The Last Epic Naval Battle," and has received recognition as USNI's 2017 Author of the Year. With a background in staffing and development at Dow Jones and consulting experience through D.L. Sears & Associates, Sears holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Pennsylvania.
