Deanna Sexton

Deanna Sexton has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Deanna began their career in 1984 as an Accounting Clerk at Borden Snacks - Southwest. In 1987, they joined Southern Management & Development, L.P. as a Human Resources Coordinator and Assistant Property Manager. Deanna worked at this company until 1999, gaining experience in various aspects of property management. In 1999, Deanna joined PYA, P.C. as the Director of Human Resources. In this role, they played a key role in managing the firm's human capital and supporting employees, management, and leadership in all HR-related activities.

Deanna Sexton attended Carson-Newman University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. In addition to their undergraduate education, Deanna has also obtained several certifications in Human Resources. Deanna became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional in July 2017, obtained a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute in September 2016, and became a SHRM - Certified Professional in September 2015.
