Joseph Shannawi

Joseph Shannawi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in field application and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Field Application Engineer at Persistent Systems, LLC since January 2021, Joseph supports field operations, engineering demonstrations, and customer relationships within the communications technology sector. Previously, Joseph worked as a Project Engineer at Clever Devices, focusing on large transit agencies in the NYC metro area, and as a Systems Engineer at Harris Corporation, where responsibilities included integration and troubleshooting for military electronic warfare systems. Joseph began their career as a Test Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems, innovating testing methods for circuit card assemblies, and earlier held a technology support role at the University of Vermont. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Clarkson University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
