Christopher Greco has worked in the field of bioinformatics since 2013. Christopher began their career as a Student Researcher at Muhlenberg College in 2013. In 2016, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at Georgetown University, where they developed a manually curated database/website dedicated to Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Christopher also applied a variety of Bioinformatics tools to large datasets to identify genes/regulatory elements of interest and proposed novel pathogenesis. In 2017, they began working as a Bioinformatic Engineer at the J. Craig Venter Institute. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at GeneDx as a Bioinformatics Engineer and Bioinformatics Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer, Bioinformatics at Personal Genome Diagnostics (PGDx).
Christopher Greco obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Muhlenberg College in 2015, after studying there from 2011-2015. Christopher then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics from Georgetown University in 2016.
