Amal Joy Chemparathy

Amal Joy Chemparathy is currently working as a Lead Backend Engineer at Personio since December 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at LINUS Digital Finance from May 2021 to November 2022, where they focused on engineering backend services and infrastructure for real estate financing and investments. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SHARE NOW from August 2019 to April 2021, where they were responsible for engineering billing and accounting systems. Amal Joy also played a crucial role in migrating legacy systems to AWS Cloud and in-housing various services. Amal also has experience as an Engineering Lead at smava GmbH and as a Software Engineer at Deutsche Telekom, Infosys, and Recruiterbox. In these roles, they worked on various development projects and acquired skills in areas such as microservices, Java/Spring, and Python/Django. Amal Joy'sexpertise also includes working with technologies like PostgreSQL, Redis, LDAP, SOAP, and REST interfaces.

Amal Joy Chemparathy obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
