Andrew Thorburn

Andrew Thorburn has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andrew is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Personio since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Snyk as a Staff Software Engineer from May 2022 to April 2023. Andrew also worked at VMware as a Senior Member Technical Staff from October 2020 to March 2022, where they helped customers in building software solutions. Before joining VMware, they worked at Pivotal Software, Inc. as a Senior Solutions Architect and Staff Software Engineer from March 2015 to October 2020. Andrew started their career as a Software Engineer at Proaxiom Holdings Ltd from March 2008 to December 2014. Andrew Thorburn also has previous experience as a Tutor at Victoria University of Wellington in 2007 and as an Intern at Foodstuffs (Wellington) Co-op Society in 2005.

Andrew Thorburn completed a Conjoint BCA/BSc degree in Accounting, Commercial Law, and Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, they received a Graduate Diploma of Arts, majoring in Chinese, from the same university.
