Christine Awad

Christine Awad has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Their most recent position was as the VP of Engineering at Personio starting in April 2023. Before that, they held various roles at Facebook, including Senior Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager. Christine also had internships at Google and Facebook while working towards their Bachelor's degree. Christine also gained experience as a Software Developer at Bdaya | IT and as a MainFrame Development / Software Engineering Intern at Daimler. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at SmartSoft-12, where they acted as a Team Lead and developer and successfully implemented the La2etlak component using the Ruby-on-Rails framework.

Christine Awad obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The German University in Cairo between 2009 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Zahran Language School, where they attained a General Secondary Certificate from 2000 to 2009.
