John Evans

John Evans has a diverse work experience in various design and leadership roles. John is currently working as the VP Product & Brand Design at Personio since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP Product Design at Meta (formerly Facebook) from 2015 to 2023, where they played a significant role in enhancing the design of various products. Before that, they worked at Google as a Product Designer from 2014 to 2015. John also held the position of Product Design Director at Aether Things from 2011 to 2014, where they successfully grew the team and led various design projects. John has also worked at Nokia as a Principal Product Designer, contributing to the development of the MeeGo platform and leading projects with strategic impact. John began their career as a Managing Director at MultiTouch, where they helped establish the company in its early stages. John has also worked as a Lead Designer & Researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology and as a Founder Partner at 3eyes, a design agency. John completed their education at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and has also worked as a freelance technical consultant and developer at Morning Digital.

John Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interaction/Industrial/User Experience Design from the University of Wales College Newport in 2002. John then went on to pursue a Master's degree in New Media at the University of Art and Design Helsinki from 2002 to 2007.
