Tariq Patel

Tariq Patel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in managerial roles across various technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Personio since October 2022, Tariq previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Trade Republic, overseeing a team of 25 and implementing regulatory checks to facilitate financial flows, including the introduction of triple redundancy in EU escrow banking. Tariq's engineering management expertise was further demonstrated at Klarna, resulting in a 70% increase in monthly impressions and a significant reduction in costs. Earlier roles include Interim VP Engineering at Brolly, where mobile phone insurance was launched, and Head of Engineering at Yoyo Wallet, leading significant app developments and continuous deployment models.
