Taryn Niesena

Taryn Niesena has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Taryn is currently working as a Principal Designer - Creative at Personio since December 2023. Prior to that, they were associated with Shopify from September 2019 to August 2023, holding roles such as Team Lead - Creative - Financial Solutions, Staff Designer - Creative - Financial Solutions, and Senior Designer - International Markets. Taryn also worked as a Design & Localization Mentor at Silicon Allee from February 2021 to July 2023. Before joining Silicon Allee, they worked at N26 as a Senior Product Designer - Payments, where they were responsible for managing external partners and overseeing the design of Mastercard and Visa products. Taryn's work experience also includes a role as an Experience Designer at Central - Niagara from August 2013 to October 2015.

Taryn Niesena completed a Design Mini MBA in Business Design from d.MBA in 2021. Taryn also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design from BTK University of Art and Design. Prior to that, Taryn attended Fanshawe College from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Graphic & Web Design. In addition to their formal education, Taryn has obtained certifications in Storytelling for Influence and Cultivating Creative Collaboration from IDEO.
