Tom Meyer

Tom Meyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Personio. Prior to that, they worked at Ajar as a Director of Engineering. Tom also held multiple roles at Meta, including Principal Software Engineer, Integrity and Principal Software Engineer, Spatial Computing Infra. Tom also served as the Sr Engineering Manager, AR Tech Team in AI Camera at Facebook. Before that, they worked as the CTO at iDAvatars (formerly Geppetto Avatars), where they led a technical team. Tom also founded and served as the CEO of oMobio, developing mobile apps. Tom worked as an Architect and Android Lead at Smule and Dropbox respectively. Earlier in their career, they served as the CTO/Chief Software Architect at Snibbe Interactive and was a Co-Founder & CTO at Phoam Technologies. Tom also worked briefly as a Consultant at InterVu.

Tom Meyer holds a Sc.M. degree in Computer Science from Brown University, which they completed from 1993 to 1996. Tom also has an A.B. degree in Art/Semiotics from the same university, earned from 1988 to 1993. In addition, Tom obtained a certificate as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) from Yoga Alliance in 2014. Tom participated in the MIT Summer Professional Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013, focusing on Technology, Organizations, and Innovation: Putting Ideas to Work.
