Ian Marsh is a Medical Physics Resident and Postdoctoral Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University since January 2022, under the guidance of Robert Hobbs, PhD. In addition, Ian serves as a consultant for Voximetry. Prior to this role, experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2015 to December 2021, where Ian was advised by Bryan Bednarz, PhD, and held various positions including Team Lead for Delivery Quality Assurance and Teaching Assistant for Radiobiology. Ian's research background also includes a stint as a Research Assistant at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and tutoring in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Ian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Medical Physics, as well as two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Nuclear Engineering - Radiation Sciences and Physics from the respective universities.
