Serhat Elban

Serhat Elban has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Serhat is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of PESCHECK® since March 2015. At PESCHECK, they focus on globalization and a hybrid workforce, providing information and insights to ensure trust and representation for each employee.

Prior to PESCHECK, Serhat worked at Rocket Internet GmbH as an International Business Development Manager from April 2014 to December 2014. Serhat was responsible for venture development, specifically for Lendico Netherlands B.V., and also served as the Head of Risk for Lendico Netherlands B.V.

Before Rocket Internet, Serhat worked at Rabobank as a Corporate Banking Trainee from September 2012 to February 2014. During their time at Rabobank, they played a crucial role in implementing the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) act, enabling inter-European direct debit transactions for corporate clients.

Serhat also has experience in sales and customer service roles. Serhat worked at Webprint as Sales / CS from October 2011 to September 2012, and at KPN as Sales / CS from February 2010 to January 2011.

In addition to their corporate experience, Serhat has interned in various companies, including KroeseWevers as a Business Development Intern from November 2011 to July 2012, and Mediacy as a Business Development Intern from February 2011 to August 2011. At KroeseWevers, they were responsible for the ASTO (Wtt) license application, among other duties. At Mediacy, they supervised and oversaw marketing and branding initiatives for the 'Gatescapes' division.

Serhat started their career with internships and a summer job at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a Commercial Banking Officer from February 2007 to May 2008. Serhat gained experience in offering and informing clients about paying and savings products, credits, and insurances.

Earlier in their career, Serhat also worked at DSB Bank as a Commercial Banking Officer from June 2008 to October 2009, and at Scharenborg & Rijckenberg Assuradeuren B.V. as a Student Intern from September 2005 to July 2007.

Overall, Serhat Elban has a strong background in business development, finance, sales, and customer service. Serhat has demonstrated their ability to adapt to evolving business trends and implement impactful initiatives throughout their career.

Serhat Elban obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration: International Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they completed a minor in Managing People and Leadership at the same institution from 2010 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the KYC PESCHECK certification from PESCHECK® in August 2020 and the WFT: Basis incl. PE, schade & consumptief krediet certification from the Ministerie van Financiën: ECABO in September 2007.
