James Young has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. James started their career as Vice President of Franchising at Verlo Mattress Factory Stores, where they led the growth and development of the franchise organization. James then joined SMTC as Vice President, responsible for the company's entrance into the US market. James also served as an Advisor at ARCpoint Labs and as a Board Member at BrightStar Care. In 2004, they became the President of Spring Green, a franchise brand operating in multiple states. James continued their leadership role as President of Pet Butler after it was acquired by Spring-Green Enterprises in 2017. Currently, James holds the role of Chief Operating Officer at Spring-Green Enterprises, overseeing various divisions and contact centers.
James Young began their education in 1991 at Mohawk College, where they studied Advertising & Design, Media Marketing & Management, and Franchising. James completed their degree in 1994, earning an AAS/ISS/CFE. Following this, from 2000 to 2008, Young attended the International Institute for Franchise Executives, where they obtained a degree in Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). Additionally, they pursued further education at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in Franchise Management and completing an MBA (Mini), although specific start and end dates are unavailable.
