Corina Chartrand began their work experience in 2008 as a Responsable des ressources humaines at Groupe Sinisco, where they were responsible for managing human resources for the company's corporate offices and branches. Corina handled personnel staffing, health and safety, compensation, training plans, employee relations, and disciplinary actions. Corina also provided advisory support to the management team and franchisees.
In 2010, Corina joined Sears Canada as a District Human Resources Manager. In this role, they oversaw 22 commercial units across Eastern Quebec and the Maritime provinces. Corina effectively implemented and executed HR initiatives, policies, and practices in the region. Corina provided guidance, training, mentoring, and advice to their partners regarding HR practices, policies, and programs. Corina also supervised and developed a team of twelve HR managers.
Corina's most recent position was at Petal, where they served as the Director of Human Resources from December 2016 to March 2021. During this time, they provided guidance to the executive leadership team and played a crucial role in establishing and implementing strategic HR orientations. Corina's mission was to create and maintain a vibrant culture that fostered innovation and pride among the team. Corina utilized their skills and experience to support the company's mission.
In March 2021, Corina Chartrand was promoted to the role of Vice-President of Human Resources at Petal, where they currently hold the position.
Corina Chartrand completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Relations industrielles at Université Laval from 2005 to 2008.
