Shanmuga Surya S

Shanmuga Surya S has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They started their career at Zoho Corporation in 2015 as a Content Specialist, contributing to CRM marketing. They later co-founded Street Smart Tech Solutionz in 2013, where they developed a facility management mobile application for apartments.

In 2016, Shanmuga became a Business Development Manager at JEPPIAAR CEMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED, where they worked until 2018. They then joined The JCR Group as a Senior Business Development Manager from 2018 to 2019 and later served as the Director of Business Operations from 2020 to 2020.

Shanmuga's leadership and advisory roles have included being a Director at TEDx Aston University from 2020 to 2022 and an Advisory Board Member from 2022 onwards. They also served as a Board Member for TAG Network Midlands Limited's TAG Young Professional Board from 2022 to 2023.

Currently, Shanmuga works at Foundervine as a Program Manager. In this role, they lead the design, development, and delivery of various programs while managing strategic partnerships across London and the UK. Their focus is to accelerate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and promote diversity and inclusion.

Shanmuga will be joining Petalite in 2023 as the Business Development Lead, further expanding their professional experience.

Shanmuga Surya S began their education by completing their 10th grade at Bell Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2002 to 2008. Shanmuga then pursued their 12th grade in Computer Science at S.B.O.A Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they attended ST. JOSEPH'S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, OMR from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree with a focus on Information Technology.

Shanmuga continued their education and enrolled in the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2018 to 2020, where they pursued a PGP (Post Graduate Program) in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence. Shanmuga then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Advanced Strategy & Servitization at Aston Business School from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Shanmuga is studying at the University of Cambridge, where they are pursuing a field of study in Business and Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions.

In addition to their academic achievements, Shanmuga has obtained several certifications. These include the Carbon Clarity certification from ARLI Project - Alternative Raw Materials with Low Impact, the TT38 Talent Test Consultant certification from Talents Unlimited, and the Mini MBA in Marketing certification from Taxila Business School. Shanmuga has also obtained the Business English Certificate - Vantage from the University of Cambridge and a certification as a Certified International Trade Professional from the Federation of Indian Export Organisations. Additionally, Shanmuga has participated in the International Spelling Bee organized by Cambridge University Press India Pvt. Ltd.
