Shelly Ferris

Shelly Ferris currently serves as the Regional Medical Director at Petco, a position held since December 2019. Prior to this role, Shelly Ferris accumulated extensive experience at Banfield Pet Hospital from August 2003 to December 2019, where positions included Director of Veterinary Quality, Medical Director, Chief of Staff, and Associate DVM. Earlier in their career, Shelly Ferris worked as an Intern DVM at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital from July 2002 to July 2003. Shelly Ferris obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota, where a Cum Laude Honors Thesis focused on Doctor-Patient Relationships was completed.
