Michael Lee

Michael Lee is a Medical Oncologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, specializing in Upper GI Cancers and Neuroendocrine Tumours since February 2021. Concurrently, Michael serves as a PhD Candidate at the University of Melbourne, focusing on the role of RNA processing alterations and p53 induced alternative splicing in pancreatic cancer. Previous experience includes roles as a Medical Oncology Fellow at BC Cancer and a medical oncology registrar and cardiology registrar at Auckland DHB. Additional positions held include Medical Registrar and AT&R registrar at Waitemata District Health Board, and House Officer at Auckland City Hospital. Michael obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics and Basic Sciences from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from The University of Auckland.
