Victoria Streeton-Cook is a research assistant at the University of Melbourne, collaborating with Professor Mark Taylor on legal obligations surrounding genomic testing for indigenous peoples. Concurrently, Victoria is involved in bioinformatics research at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, focusing on RNA sequencing methods in Prof Alicia Oshlack’s Lab. Victoria has previously served as President of the Melbourne University Physics Students' Society and held roles such as Secretary and Debating Coach at Presbyterian Ladies' College. Experience includes data management and public health officer roles during the COVID-19 response with the Victorian Department of Health. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law at the University of Melbourne, alongside a Diploma of Languages in Latin.
