Gemma Sproule Treacy

Gemma Sproule Treacy is a dedicated social worker with experience in various roles aimed at supporting vulnerable populations. Currently serving as a Project Worker at Peter McVerry Trust since July 2022, Gemma focuses on holistic approaches to assist individuals experiencing homelessness in emergency accommodation. Prior experience includes a student placement with Tusla - Child and Family Agency, where responsibilities encompassed conducting assessments, developing safety plans, and advocating for client rights. Earlier positions include Front Office Manager at Grand Central Hotel Bundoran, where guest services were prioritized, and roles in training and child supervision. Gemma holds a BSc in Applied Social Sciences from the University of Galway and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at the same institution.
