Jessica Merson

Jessica Merson is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Chief Finance Officer at Peterborough Cathedral since August 2016. Prior to this, Jessica was the Principal Accountant at J Merson Accountancy Ltd from 2012 to August 2016, where Jessica acted as Owner, Accountant, and Financial Director. Additional experience includes roles as Associate Director of Finance - Income & Commissioning at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and Chief Management Accountant at Northampton General Hospital. Jessica has also contributed as a trustee for Wellingborough Mind. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance and a First Class Bachelor's degree in the same field, both from the University of Northampton. Jessica is dedicated to service excellence, team development, and fostering strong working relationships while focusing on value-adding activities.
