Kendrick Mason-Wiggins is a dedicated advocate for African American political leadership and empowerment, currently serving as a JMLI Fellow at Virginia State University. With experience as a Special Education Teacher at Petersburg City Public Schools, Kendrick emphasizes inclusive education and student empowerment through personalized support and engaging lesson plans. As an Emerging Leader Fellow at The Gloucester Institute, Kendrick participates in advanced leadership training to prepare for complex business challenges. Previously, Kendrick led fundraising efforts for Pretty Purposed and served as a Student Liaison and Research Intern for The Center for Policing Leadership and Social Justice, coordinating events and engaging with community leaders. Educationally, Kendrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Virginia State University, along with practical experience in various organizational roles.
