Ehsan Bakhtiyari

Ehsan Bakhtiyari is an experienced Geomechanics Engineer currently working at Petropars since October 2019, specializing in a range of geomechanical analyses including modeling, wellbore stability, caprock integrity, and coupled fluid-mechanical simulations using tools like ABAQUS and GEOLOG. Ehsan’s prior experience includes conducting research as a Graduate Student at Monash University, evaluating internal erosion in dams, and serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Tehran, focusing on test settings in clay soils and the relationship between in-situ and laboratory tests. Ehsan has also held positions as an Instructor at the University of Applied Science and Technology, a Geotechnical Engineer at Pillar Research and Development Company, a Project Engineer at Zamin Physic Pouya Co., and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tehran. Ehsan's educational background includes a PhD in Engineering Geology from Tarbiat Modares University, a postgraduate degree in Geomechanical Engineering from Monash University, an MS in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a BS in Geological and Earth Sciences from Shahid Beheshti University.
