Kourosh Ghadarghadr Jahromi has extensive experience in the field of materials engineering and quality control. Kourosh has worked in various roles in companies such as Petropars Oilfield Services Co., where they served as the Head of Quality, overseeing drilling projects and conducting technical evaluation and auditing of drilling service and manufacturing companies. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant Welding Engineer and Lead Auditor at IWREC Q&C, specializing in ISO 3834 and ATB. Kourosh also worked as a Material Expert and Pipeline Operation Supervisor at GNEC, providing engineering services in materials and quality control for gas transmission pipeline and gas refinery construction projects. Kourosh Ghadarghadr Jahromi has an extensive educational background in engineering and mathematics. Kourosh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering with a focus on Metal Forming from Shiraz University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they attended the University of Tehran from 2000 to 2003 and earned an MSc. in Materials Engineering with a specialization in Characterization and Selection of Engineering Materials. Prior to their university education, Kourosh attended Sherafatian from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Mathematics and Physics.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Kourosh has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Kourosh completed various safety-related courses, including Safety Induction, Sea Survival, HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training), Basic Fire Fighting, and First Aid, as well as obtained a certification in H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) from the Kish International Sea Safety School in July 2021. Kourosh also holds a certification in Administrative Writing from the Sorbon Academy (July 2019) and one in Emotional Intelligence from the Sorbon Ecademy (March 2019).
Kourosh has further enhanced their professional skills by completing courses such as the Basic Overview of Stuck Pipe Prevention and Drill String Failure Prevention Course from the Fearnley Procter Group (October 2018) and the BOWTIE course from the PPL Training School (August 2018). Kourosh possesses certifications in Managing Safety from IOSH (November 2014) and Diagnosis Approach Productivity from the Industrial Management Institute (March 2014). Kourosh also has training in Cementing for Drilling Industry from Mehran Engineering and Well Services (February 2014) and holds the title of European Welding Engineer accredited by the European Federation for Welding, Joining, and Cutting (December 2012).
