Amy Schauwecker

Amy Schauwecker is a seasoned professional in product formulation and development within the pet food industry, currently serving as Sr. Director of Product Formulation & Engineering at PetSmart since September 2017. Prior experience includes roles such as Sr. Director of Consumables Product Development and Director of Consumables Product Development & Sourcing at the same company. Previously, Amy held significant positions at The J.M. Smucker Company, including Senior R&D Manager for Pet Specialty, and at Big Heart Pet Brands and Del Monte Foods, specializing in innovation and technology initiatives. Earlier career highlights feature roles at The Clorox Company, Merisant Company, Unilever, The Kraft Heinz Company, and BSK Associates. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Food Technology and Processing from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, along with a minor in Anthropology from UC Irvine.
