Elena Rodrigues is an experienced professional in both the healthcare and figure skating fields. Currently serving as the Head Coach at Wisconsin Edge Synchronized Skating since June 2019 and the Learn to Skate Director at Wisconsin Figure Skating Club Inc since September 2022, Elena also holds a position as a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiothoracic surgery at Froedtert Hospital since February 2018. With a background in coaching, Elena previously worked as a Figure Skating Coach at Pettit National Ice Center and Copper Country Skating Academy. In addition, Elena coordinated figure skating camps at Michigan Technological University. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Michigan University, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bryant & Stratton College - Milwaukee, and a degree in Kinesiology and Health from Miami University, complemented by minors in Coaching and Management and Organizations.
