Hector Liu

Hector Liu is a research scientist at Petuum. Hector received their PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019 and was a research intern at Google from May to August 2015. Hector has also been a TEDx Hong Kong organizing committee member and a Google Summer of Code 2012 student developer.

Hector Liu has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master's in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

They are on a team with Pradipta Ray - Research Scientist, Andre Martins - Research Scientist, and Bing Zhao - Research Scientist. Their manager is Eric Xing, Co-Founder, Executive Chairman & Chief Scientist.
