Takanori Ohkubo

Takanori (Tako) Ohkubo has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Takanori (Tako) is currently the Director of Acquisitions for PetWise, Inc., a leading family of brands for pet toys and accessories. Prior to this, Tako worked at Deloitte Consulting, where they specialized in pricing and commercial strategy, as well as supporting the firm's digital communication strategy. Takanori (Tako) also gained experience in private equity investments at Greyrock Capital Group and in health law and policy at Yale Law School. Tako's earlier experiences include roles at Amazon Web Services, stepupLA, Deloitte Consulting (in strategy and operations and business tax services), BRC Advisors, Emergency Medical Services of University of Southern California, and Trojan Health Connection.

Takanori (Tako) Ohkubo earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a Management Science Concentration (STEM) from Yale School of Management from 2019 to 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Business Taxation degree at the University of Southern California. Takanori (Tako) also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biological Sciences from the same university. Takanori has additional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy obtained in June 2015 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services obtained in June 2020. Takanori (Tako) has also completed all three levels of the CFA exams from the CFA Institute.
