Mark C. Hines is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, policy analysis, and education. Currently serving as a Research Officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts since February 2019, Mark has also held positions as Principal Research Associate and Senior Research Associate. Mark is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, teaching courses in Ethics & Public Policy and Research Methods. Previous roles include adjunct professor at Lutheran College Washington Semester, Social Insurance Specialist at the Social Security Administration, and various research positions, including at the Center for American Progress and Global AIDS Alliance. Mark earned a Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Government from Georgetown University, along with a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Political Science, and Business from Washington University in St. Louis.
