Nikolaj Damsbo Birch has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and consulting sectors. Nikolaj Damsbo is currently the Head of AI Platform & Technology at PFA, leading the team responsible for developing and implementing AI solutions. Prior to this, they were the Head of DS Tech at PFA, where they led a team in defining the technical and architectural vision for Digital Solutions. Nikolaj Damsbo also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at Implement Consulting Group. Before that, Nikolaj was the Industry Lead for Life & Pension at KMD and an Enterprise Architect at PFA. Nikolaj Damsbo also gained experience as an IT Management Consultant at TrustWorks ApS and a Solution Architect at Københavns Kommune. Earlier in their career, Nikolaj worked as a Software Developer at Ørsted, focusing on trading logistics, and as a Software Developer at NaviPartner.

Nikolaj Damsbo Birch completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HD) from Copenhagen Business School in 2021-2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science & Engineering Management from DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2012-2014. Nikolaj Damsbo also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they earned in 2008-2012. In addition to their formal education, Nikolaj also obtained several certifications, including SAFe® Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2016, Certified Enterprise Architect from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015, PRINCE2 Foundation from APMG-International, and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org.
