Kyle Cassaidy

Kyle Cassaidy is a Senior Scientist at Pfizer, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Kyle was a PhD Candidate at the University of Chicago from September 2017 to June 2022, focusing on a dissertation titled "A Cycloisomerization Strategy for the De Novo Synthesis of Steroidal Alkaloids." Kyle also served as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant, contributing to various organic and inorganic chemistry laboratory courses. Earlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where the focus was on the design and synthesis of fluorogenic chemical probes for live-cell imaging, as well as providing academic tutoring.
