Henry Smokler

Henry Smokler has a strong background in the legal field, with their most recent position being Chief Legal and Risk Officer at PGA of America since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of General Counsel at PGA of America from October 2015. Before joining PGA of America, they worked at United States Golf Association where they served as the Managing Director of Broadcast and Digital Media from April 2013 to September 2015, and as an Associate General Counsel from January 2004 to March 2013. Henry began their legal career as an Associate at Davis & Gilbert LLP from January 2000 to January 2004, and prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from September 1997 to December 1999.

Henry Smokler obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where they studied from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government from Cornell University, graduating in 1994.
