Matthew J. Fitzgerald

Matthew J. Fitzgerald's work experience includes serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at PGIM Fixed Income, where they were responsible for leading global fixed income compliance for Prudential Financial Inc. affiliate. Matthew J. managed a team of professionals across multiple locations and was a member of various committees. Prior to that, they held various roles at BlackRock, including Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Compliance. Matthew J. also served as the Chief Compliance Officer at BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation. Before joining BlackRock, Fitzgerald worked at IRG Limited as a Managing Director and General Counsel, and at Brown & Wood LLP as a Senior Associate, where they provided legal counsel to banks, investment advisers, and other organizations.

Matthew J. Fitzgerald has a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Emory University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Yale University. Matthew J. is also a member of the DC and PA Bars and the National Association of Compliance Professionals.
