Jane Merten has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and brand management. Jane started their career in 2000 as a Financial Analyst at Best Buy, where they were part of the finance team that supported Best Buy Advertising. Jane then became a Brand Communications and Market Research Intern at The HON Company in 2005. In 2006, they joined Meredith Corporation as an Assistant Brand Manager, where they assisted in new product development for food and health books & magazines, and trained the sales team to garner distribution in mass, club, trade and grocery stores. In 2009, they became a Sr. Brand Manager at Frontier Natural Products, where they developed and launched over 130 new essential oil and personal care skus resulting in $17 million incremental revenue for the Aura Cacia business unit. In 2013, they were appointed Vice President Sales and Marketing at Eco Lips, Inc., where they led a strong cross-functional team developing innovative lip care products, and gained national distribution with Walmart, Whole Foods, ULTA, Target, Hy-Vee, and CVS. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of All Out Naturals. In 2019, they returned to Eco Lips, Inc. as Vice President Marketing, where they developed and executed brand and private label strategies including launching new products, increasing distribution, and acquiring Bug Soother in 2021. In 2022, they will join pH-D Feminine Health as the Marketing Director.
Jane Merten received their B.A. in Accounting from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2000. Jane then returned to the same school in 2006 to receive their MBA in Marketing.
