Adibah Khan

Specialist Advisory Committee Network at Pharmaceutical Management Agency (PHARMAC)

Adibah Khan is currently a Research Assistant at the University of Otago's School of Medicine, contributing to the March 15th Project, which investigates the impact of the 2019 Christchurch terrorist attacks on the local Muslim community. Khan has extensive experience in public health and policy, having served as a Specialist Advisory Committee Network member at PHARMAC and an Equity Steering Group Member for the National Public Health Service at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand. Previous roles include Short Term Consultant for the World Health Organization, Senior Policy Officer at the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing, and Senior Advisor for the Ministry of Health New Zealand. Adibah Khan co-founded the National Islamic Youth Association and has been an active member of the Asia New Zealand Foundation Leadership Network. Educational qualifications include a Master of Global Health and a Master of Health Leadership and Management from UNSW, along with ongoing studies for a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Otago, following a Bachelor of Health Science in Public Health.
